Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Cover Feature

“Congratulations Jennifer! We will be using your layout on the Cover of the Fall 2022 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine !!”

That is SUCH a fabulous email to receive when you are a creator … I’ve been SO fortunate to have been featured inside the pages of  (3) different paper crafting publications over the years, with several of my projects on the pages of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine … but to get the cover was SO cool !!

When you are asked to design for the cover, you are given a photo and a few guidelines to abide by, and then the team chooses from the handful of creators working on the same project !

This photo was SO cute and fun to work with !!

When I saw the photo I knew that I wanted to use elements from our Fall Title Cut File Bundle … and I happily pulled out some vintage Bella Blvd. patterned papers as well !!

Being that this layout was for a magazine cover, the landscape is smaller than a 12 x 12″ scrapbook page. So, I designed it on an 8.5 x 11″ white cardstock base and cut out bits and pieces from the Cut File Bundle to use for both my title and embellishments !

It is a really exciting feeling to see your name in print and I loved being able to have this layout featured throughout the Fall Issue !!

GROWING TOGETHER

My company has been advertising in Creative Scrapbooker Magazine from the very beginning when they were Canadian Scrapbooker and have watched their growth over the years. It is really amazing how they incorporate so many styles of memory keeping inside the pages each quarter.

If you don’t subscribe, you should.  There is something about holding the paper copy of a magazine in your hands and turning the pages. It never gets old for me !!

I am so lucky to work with a super talented Creative Team and it isn’t very often that one of them is featured on the pages too !!
