First Day

For this Creative Team layout, I saw the Backpack from the NEW School Zone Cut File Bundle and instantly knew what picture to use! I  wanted to focus on this super cute backpack cut file image, as well as incorporate other fun school themed cut files!  I LOVE how I can adjust any cut file to suit my design!

Amongst the layout, I used a mix of school themed cut file collections, using a total of five Cut files! The cut files included the ‘First Day’ title cut file as well as the ruler from the Elementary School Cut File Bundle. And from the new School Zone Cut File bundle, the Backpack, Notebook and Marker elements.

For the Backpack cut file, I backed it with patterned papers and then cut a slit in it so I could tuck in the Notebook cut file. How fun is that right?!  Cut Files are such a fun way to add a custom look to my projects. And as always, I love the process and watching it all come together!
