by Andie Green
Hello crafty peeps! Andie here on the blog today sharing with you a double page layout celebrating sunshine and warmer weather on the way!
This has been a fairly well used kit for me, so my patterned papers were running low. But I like that I had enough to make use of what I had! I was happy I had enough of the bold striped pattern left to back the title with though, as I knew I wanted the title to be a stand out piece.
The stickers, foam stickers and bits & pieces in the Full Bloom Creative Kit provided plenty of embellishments to cluster near the title and around the page to draw in attention.
Despite my photos being from Summer, this mainly Spring themed kit had much to offer. With the mega-watt smiles on my kids faces here, I particularly loved the “shine bright” foam sticker! 🌞
MAKE IT POP
I fit some of the photos into the squares of the grid, matting them with patterned paper
to help them pop more, as well as sanding the edges of the photo for that nice white border that matches the base of the grid.
Then I added a few smaller photos placed above & outside the grid. It was a great way to get in some more photos without losing any of the incredible details in the cut file.
Since I do not have my Cricut set up all the time (my space does not allow for it), I have days when I just sit and pump out cut files like crazy. I have an album that I keep all my pre-cut cut files in and grab them as needed. This also leads me to challenge myself to use multiple cut files on one layout, like I did here.
With Jennifer’s March cut files including this fabulous Spring Title Bundle
this is easy to do!! Be sure to check out all her cut files HERE
Thank you for stopping by the blog today to check out my double layout. Happy April & Spring is on it’s way!
