Sentiment Cards

by Heather Fischer

Hello Crafty Friends!! Thanks for coming over to the blog to check out these cards I created using the Jennifer Edwardson exclusive stamp sets!

To create my “Happy Birthday” card, I used the Summer Bloom Clear Stamp set along with the coordinating cut file to stamp the images, which then I heat embossed with a variety of colours.  I also used the cute little Tea Cup element from the Homemade Happiness Cut File Bundle to fill with these beautiful stamped flowers!

I stamped and gold heat embossed the ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment from the Simple Sentiments clear stamp set. Then I attached the tea cup and the stamped sentiment using foam adhesive for that added bit of dimension.

For my ‘Thinking of You’ card, I did an ombre ink blend in three shades of blue inks on the card panel. I white heat embossed one of the flower images along with some assorted leaves from both the Simple Sentiments and Summer Bloom clear stamp sets.

I white heat embossed the ‘Thinking of You’ sentiment onto a strip of vellum to wrap around the card panel. And then I attached it to a dark blue card stock before finishing off the card!

For the ‘Hello Friend’ card, I did some random stamping in a dark green ink using the leaf stamp from the Simple Sentiments clear stamp. I then ran this through my die cut machine with an embossing folder for some pattern.

I stamped and red heat embossed the big flower from the Summer Bloom clear stamp set and adhered a few to the card front using foam adhesive. Then I took one of the flowers and trimmed it down to adhere flat to certain portions of the card panel.

To finish off this card I stamped and gold heat embossed the ‘Hello Friend’ sentiment and attached it to the card front using foam adhesive.

I love ALL the Jennifer Edwardson clear stamp sets for creating cards!  They are great for my scrapbook layouts too…so fun & very versatile!!

Stay crafty,

Heather
