I have so many feelings about the photos on this layout … i have mentioned it before, but I have been struggling to get all the photos that i took during our son Alex’s medical journey, into an album for him (us) !!
This was the day of his surgery and i have THE hardest time letting myself go back to those moments … while i want it all documented, i am taking it slow and know the time will come that i breathe a little easier when i see these photos.
i AM happy that i’ve been able to start and get a few pages completed with some simple journaling … the tough stuff is going to have to wait … and thats ok ! I know i will get it in there at some point …
THE GOOD NEWS ?!?! Alex is doing really well and has recovered to this point exactly as everyone had hoped !!
LOVE the sketch we created with this page !! It is SO easily adapted to any orientation and will look fantastic AND can be re-created over again and you’d never know you took your inspiration from the same sketch !!
I love the way there is a larger focal photo and then some smaller supporting photos … such a great way to help tell your story both with your photos AND your journaling !!
