Celebrate – Abstract Background Layout
by Andie Green
Happy May! This is my birthday month, so I had to do a birthday layout – even if it is of my daughter and not me, lol!

For this single layout I used the new Abstract Background Cut File from the May release -I thought it was such a fun, artsy, and edgy background to work with!

Of course I then used the Celebrate Mega Creative Kit. This kit is LOADED with lots of party and celebration goodness!

The kit came with 5 rolls of washi tape which I just loved, so I decided to cover the cut-out mosaic pieces with alternating washi tape designs. I then glued the pieces back in using Art Glitter glue – because nothing holds better!

Since the mosaic background was so beautifully busy, I went with a single framed photo only. The Celebrate Mega Creative Kit came with the chipboard frames that made it super simple to highlight my photo.

I popped up the chipboard frame with photo and a few other elements with 3D Foam Dots and I finished off by doodling a frame around the border of the layout.

True confessions – this is another re-do layout for me. I had started it years ago and never finished it, so instead I took it apart and started over. Do you ever do this?
Thank you for stopping by the blog today. I hope the month of May brings you much to celebrate!
