VACAY VIBES

Hey crafty fiends!! I’m back today with this Summer themed layout I created using the new Vacay Frames Cut File from the August release! I combined it with another fabulous cut file, the Summer Title… such a perfect match!

This new Vacay cut file is so unique and versatile!!  I sized it to fit some 3×4 photos as well as a shaker element with one of the letters from the cut file.  I mean c’mon…how cute is that?! 

Shakers are so fun to add and I love to make them pop with some foam adhesive!!

To create this large title, I cut the file from white card stock and then blended some ink colours to match my patterned paper and mimic the ombré effect of the background.

I love the Summer Title cut file and I wanted to add it to my layout for some contrast to the word Vacay. First, I cut it out and just trimmed off the flower accents so I was just left with the word ‘Summer’. Then I chose some coordinating patterned paper to back it with and attached it with more foam adhesive.

I pulled the rest of the layout together with coordinating ephemera, fussy cut pieces and a few stickers!
