Bake Some Memories Recipe Mini Album -Pt 2

Today we are sharing the rest of Katelyn’s amazing Recipe Mini Album! She adorned each page with such detail and creativity! Using multiple December Cut Files and the Simple Stories Christmas Recipe Album Kit, she intricately designed each page to lovingly store her holiday recipes. This project would make a great gift for the baker in your life!

Page 1:

Start by putting in the Favourites tab

Page 2 & 3:

Page 2: The photo mat is for a 4×6 photo. The candy border is from the Bah Humbug Cut File. I just cut the border down to the same size as the patterned paper piece. I used stickers out of the sticker booklet around the photo mat,

Page 3: Add a recipe card into the top page protector. In the other page protector, you can add a 4×6 photo mat. On the outside of the page protector, I foam squared a gingerbread man and used a word sticker in the bottom left corner of the photo mat. To add a fun element to the photo mat, I used washi tape to adhere a note piece to the top right side of the page protector. From the Currently Journaling Clear Stamps, I used the Highlights From and stamped on the note piece. On the flip side of the note piece, I add an image and a word strip.

Page 4 & 5:

Page 4: The backside of the recipe card will be in the top page protector. In the other page protector, you’ll have the backside of the 4×6 photo mat. On the outside of the page protector, I foam squared some cooking tools and used a word sticker in the bottom right corner of the photo mat.

Page 5: This will be the appetizer tab

Page 6 & 7:

Page 6: The pocket that all the recipe cards and note cards are sitting in measures 5 ¼” x 4”. Score ¼” around three of the edges. The Candy Cane border is from the Christmas Baking Crew Cut File Bundle. The Candy Cane sticking out of the pocket is from the Nutcracker Cut File. Inside the pocket is one recipe card, four note pieces and the candy cane image.

Page 7: The base of the layout is on a piece of cardstock that measures 6” x 8 ½”. To create the strips behind the photo mat, I used strips of patterned paper from the Paper Pad out of the Baking Spirits Bright Add on Kit.

Page 8 & 9:

Page 8: The photo mats for this page are 3” x 5”. The embellishments are all out of the Sticker Booklet from the Baking Spirits Bright Add on Kit.

Page 9: This will be the Soups & Salads tab

Page 10 & 11:

Page 10: Features a 4” x 6” photo mat. Before adhering the photo mat, I layered circle stickers from the Sticker Booklet and then adhered the photo mat. Staple the candy border to the bottom piece of the note piece. The note piece is adhered to the left of the photo mat with a piece of washi tape. On the flip side of the note piece, adhere an image and a sticker word strip.

Page 11: Place the recipe card in the bottom of the 4×6 and 3×4 page protector. In the top left 3×4 page protector, it’s a 3”x4” cardstock piece. The heart and word sticker has been adhered to the outside of the page protector. In the right 3×4 page protector, a sentiment has been foam squared to a note piece.

Page 12 & 13:

Page 12: The backside of the page protector has a similar set up to the frontside of the page protector. The two strips that are stapled together, were stapled before being adhered to the backside of the note piece. The sentiment is a sticker adhere to a piece of cardstock and cut around.

Page 13: This will be the Side Dishes Tab.

Page 14 & 15:

Page 14: The pocket that all the recipe cards and note cards are sitting in measures 5 ¼” x 4”. Score ¼” around three of the edges. The Snowman sticking out of the pocket is from the NEW Build A Snowman Cut File. Inside the pocket is one recipe card, three note pieces, two 4”x6” photo mats and the snowman.

Page 15: The base of the layout is on a piece of cardstock that measures 6” x 8 ½”. In behind the photo mat, I cut a note piece in half and adhered in behind the photo mat. Before adhering the patterned paper piece to the cardstock piece, I stapled a candy can border to the bottom portion of the photo mat.

Page 16 & 17:

Page 16: The backside is what you will be working on. In behind the photo mat is a note piece. On the left side the Baking Memories is out of the Page Pieces from the Baking Spirits Bright Add on Kit and is foam squared. The remaining embellishments are from the sticker booklet.

Page 17: This will be the Main Dishes Tab.

Page 18 & 19:

Page 18: This page features a 4” x 6” photo mat. Before adhering the photo mat, I layered circle stickers from the Sticker Booklet and then adhered the photo mat. Staple the Candy Cane border to the bottom piece of the note piece. The note piece is adhered to the left of the photo mat with a piece of washi tape. On the flip side of the note piece, adhere an image and a sticker word strip.

Page 19: Place the recipe card in the bottom of the 4×6 and 3×4 page protector. In the top left 3×4 page protector, you’ll need a note piece, have the backside showing in this pocket. Add a piece of cardstock with some stickers. In the right 3×4 page protector, a 3”x4” piece of cardstock is in the pocket.

Page 20 & 21:

Page 20: The backside of the page protector has a similar set up to the frontside of the page protector. A Candy Cane from the Nutcracker Cut File has been foam squared to the note piece.

Page 21: This will be the Breads & Baked Goods Tab.

Page 22 & 23:

Page 22: The pocket that all the recipe cards and note cards are sitting in measures 5 ¼” x 4”. Score ¼” around three of the edges. The Candy border is from the Christmas Baking Crew Cut File. From the Currently Journaling Clear Stamps, I used the Highlights From and stamped on the note piece. On the flip side of the note piece, I add an image and a word strip.

Page 28 & 29:

Page 29: Place the recipe card in the bottom of the 4×6 and 3×4 page protector. In the top right 3×4 page protector, you’ll need a note piece, have note piece side showing in this pocket. Add stickers as desired on the note piece.  In the left 3×4 page protector, a 3”x4” piece of cardstock is in the pocket. Add a heart and word strip in the bottom left corner of the page protector.

Page 30 & 31:

Page 30: The backside of the page protector has a similar set up to the frontside of the page protector. And the two strips that are stapled together, were stapled before being adhered to the backside of the note piece. The sentiment is a sticker adhere to a piece of cardstock and cut around.

Page 31: This will be the Desserts & Pies Tab.

Page 32 & 33:

Page 32: The pocket that all the recipe cards and note cards are sitting in measures 5 ¼” x 4”. Score ¼” around three of the edges. The Gingerbread Man sticking out of the pocket is from the Bah Humbug Cut File. Inside the pocket is two recipe cards, two photo mats, two note pieces and the gingerbread man.

Page 33: Add a recipe card into the top page protector. In the bottom page protector, you can add a 4×6 photo mat. On the outside of the page protector, I adhered a gingerbread girl and a word sticker in the bottom left corner of the photo mat. To add a fun element to the photo mat, I used washi tape to adhere a note piece to the top right side of the page protector. On the flip side of the note piece, I add an image and a word strip.

Page 34 & 35:

Page 34: The backside of the recipe card will be in the top page protector. In the bottom page protector, you’ll have the backside of the 4×6 photo mat. On the outside of the page protector, I adhered a gingerbread boy and used a word sticker in the bottom right corner of the photo mat.

Page 35: The base of the layout is on a piece of cardstock that measures 6” x 8 ½”. In behind the photo mat, I cut a note piece in half and adhered in behind the photo mat. Before adhering the patterned paper piece to the cardstock piece, I stapled a candy border to the bottom portion of the photo mat.

Page 36:

Page 36: The backside of the cardstock will have a 4” x 6” cardstock piece. I layered circle stickers on the left side of the cardstock piece, before adhering the photo mat. Foam squares the 4” x 6” cardstock piece and embellish the page as desired.
