SPLASH

I am so happy that I caught this moment on camera. My son thought it was hilarious spraying his Dad in the face with the hose. You can see so much joy in his face.
To start, I cut out two of the Splash cut files out, one with white cardstock and one with watercolour paper that I had already painted with blue and green watercolours.
I decided to pop the inside up on top of the cut file with American Crafts sticky thumb dots.
I picked out blue and green patterned papers from the creative kit and cut them into the shape of a sunburst and glued them down, and then used my sewing machine to stitch along each of the sunbursts.
I added some green ink to the background (Tim Holtz Distress Ink – twisted citron) and cut out a few extra water drops to put around the splash cut file.
