Shopaholic

 by Heather Fischer

Hello again crafty friends!! I’m up on the blog today sharing this layout with you that I created using the NEW Shopaholic Cut File Bundle!!

Being from Canada, I don’t have the pleasure of shopping at Hobby Lobby often at all, so when I do…I make it worth my while ;).  I just love their home decor section most of all!  I’m going to need a U-haul one of these days for ALL the things!  LOL

I pulled out an oldie but a goodie from paper collection by Simple Stories for this layout and created my own custom background by using the dollar sign image from the cut file bundle.  I created a few sizes of it and arranged them in a random pattern before I cut it out on white cardstock.

This is yet another reason I LOVE cut files. They are so easy and fantastic for projects when you can choose certain image elements and resize as needed. You can create projects using just one or more of the images, the possibilities are endless!!

GETTING CREATIVE

I mounted the background onto a fun patterned paper then continued to layer and add different elements to document this memory.

For the title, I chose the “Shopaholic” element from the cut file bundle and cut it out and back mounted it on another coordinating patterned paper.  I usually adhere my titles horizontal across the page but I think using it this way added a fun vibe to this page!

Oh and I love using the Write it Down stamp set for all my journaling needs! It’s full of the perfect sized stamps to easily incorporate into your layouts!

Be sure to go check out all the new cut files and get creative!!  This cut file bundle would be perfect to document all the holiday season shopping that’s soon upon us too! 😉

Stay crafty,

Heather
