Happy New Year

I hope you ushered in 2023 in wonderful ways, and here’s to hoping the new year treats us all well! 🎉

Andie here on the blog today to share with you this New Year’s Eve layout template I created. I used the Evergreen & Holly creative kit and Evergreen & Holly paper pad along with the NEW 2023 Title Cut File Bundle.

This bundle is awesome as it offers multiple options for crafting !  I chose to cut out the solid numbers from pattern paper and use the negative part of the pattern paper as the base page.

Using 3D foam squares, I popped up the 2023 and slightly offset it from the pattern paper below so that the white cardstock base peeked through.

What’s New Year’s without a countdown? So I added in the 3, 2, 1 using the fabulous Evergreen & Holly foil chipboard letter stickers that come in the Evergreen & Holly Creative kit.

UNIQUE TOUCHES

Before adhering the patterned paper to the white cardstock base, I cut the bottom of the page into strips, following the breaks in the different colours.  Once the top part of the patterned paper is adhered to the cardstock base, I rolled the bottom strips up in varying lengths.  To give added dimension to the layout, I added 3D foam squares under them before adhering the bottom rolled part to the cardstock using mini glue dots.

There are so many fabulous frames, tags, and stickers in the Evergreen & Holly creative kit and add on kit that make accessorizing my layout a breeze!  I added some baker’s twine and gold sequins from my stash, and doodled around the border of the page for finishing touches.

Now all I need to do is add in my favourite photos from our New Year’s Eve celebrations! This will be the first one without my daughter because she’s an adult now and apparently does her own thing!
