Sweet Life Double Page Layout

Hello!  Andie here on the blog today sharing my layout using the new Cat Bundle Cut File and Vintage Lemon Twist Add On Creative Kit. I was soooooo happy when they re-released this collection!

First folks, I must take a brief moment to write an apology note to my dogs because I did a scrapbook layout about cats!

Riley & Roxy, I am so sorry, they made me do it!  It was the only cut file selection left for me after the rest of the creative team had made their selections!  You pups are still the center of my world, do not worry – and yes, I’ll share your photo here so everyone knows you are cuter than your cat cousins . . .

Please oooh and aaah accordingly, their egos are fragile! LOL

Ok, now where were we?  Right, The Cat cut file Bundle that you can purchase HERE – if you’re a cat person that is. 😉

I used the top three images in my layout, incorporating them into my embellishment clusters & title. The little paw prints absolutely needed a heart sticker to complete them!

I used the Simple Vintage Lemon Twist add on creative kit which sold out during Jennifer’s long weekend sale, no surprise, as it’s such a gorgeous collection.  However the Simple Vintage Lemon Twist Creative Kit is still available!  You cannot go wrong with the delicious blues & yellows against basic black in this collection.

The chipboard frames in this kit were simply stunning and I wanted to use as many as I could! They brought such a luxurious feel to this layout and I love how beautifully they captured these handsome feline boys!

PHOTOS

These are old photos (2011) of my sister’s cats, the first time I got to meet them.  Drew & Sagg are sadly no longer with us, but man they were sure loved for MANY years  (this still does not make my dogs any less jealous though, lol).

The grey colouring of the cats almost give a black & white feel to the photos, which blends so nicely with the rich colours of the Simple Vintage Lemon Twist – I’m so in love with this collection!

For some finishing details, I used the Currently Journaling stamp set and doodled around the border of the layout with black pen.  I also used a few drops of black Nuvo Drops – black paint splatters would have looked good too, depends how messy you wanna get!

Thank you for stopping to share in the creating of my cat layout and subsequent apology to my jealous dogs!  Hope you have a Scrap Happy Day!

Andie ðŸŒ¼
