Canada Day Banner

by Katelyn Spencer

Hey Friends! I’m up on the blog today sharing a tutorial on how to make this festive Canada Day Banner. To create my banner, I used the Canada Day Cut File Bundle and the Full Bloom Mini Kit.  This little banner is perfect for decorating any area of your home for Canada Day. Grab a cup of your favourite summertime beverage and enjoy my tutorial on how to create this Canada Day Banner at home.

For the Canada Flags, I cut them out using the Poppy Colour Vibe Textured Cardstock, which has a plain side and a dotted side. I decided I wanted to use the plain side for the flag portion, but flipped the cut out maple leaf over and used the dotted side.

For the Oh Canada, I cut it out using the Black Colour Vibe Textured Cardstock.  I decided I wanted to use the dotted side for the outline of the word and use the plain side of the Poppy Colour Vibe Textured Cardstock for backing the cut file. And for the Maple Leaf in the top right corner of the word, I used the dotted side of the Poppy Colour Vibe Textured Cardstock.

Here is the finished Canada Day Banner.
