Happy Hearts with Katelyn

Do you ever look at a Creative Kit and think “I could make SO many projects with that” and then only create a layout or two and the rest sits in your supplies ?! We all have for sure ….

Well, Katelyn is here on the blog for the next few days to share with us all, just how many projects she was able to create with just ONE of our Creative Kits !!!

Here we go with Day 1 …

Hey Friends!

This month I challenged myself to see how much of a Creative Kit I could use and how many projects I would get and what would be leftover !!

I decided that I was going to work with the Happy Hearts Creative Kit.

From this one Creative Kit, I was able to create a layout, six cards, a wall hanging and two mini albums and still had product left over! Along with the Creative Kit, I also used some of the NEW August Cut Files as well as the Hey Cupcake Cut File.

For each project there will be a list of the products that I used from the Creative Kit as well as any extras that are needed. Today we will start with the most adorable Sun Min Album !!

For the base of my album, I used the Sun Background Cut File, which is one of the brand new Cut Files for August. The sunburst is sized down for the mini album !! The cut file makes for a really dainty and delicate framing of all the pages.

THE KIT

I then selected all of the patterned papers and embellishments that I wanted to use to create the pages. The creative kit has the most adorable collection of stickers and the softest pastel colour palette, which is just perfect for Valentine’s Day projects, birthday or wedding anniversary cards!
