Pumpkin Carving

This is such a great page that Kristin created using one of our newest Fall Cut Files … keep on reading to see how she made this page to showcase this FABULOUS pumpkin … i mean just look at those details !!

To start, I used two sheets of patterned paper from the Simply Stories, “Hello Today” collection for my base.  The Cut File that I used is the Pumpkin Carving Cut File.

I backed the Cut File with papers from the Howdy Creative Kit … these papers are so wonderfully versatile !

This has to be one of my favorite kits !!  To achieve the color on the word “carving” for the title, I used Heidi Swapp Colorshine.

For the embellishments, I used some fussy-cut leaves from my Simple Stories Stash, some random fall-colored bling and this cool ribbon I had that sort of looks like pumpkin guts !! Then I used a stamp around the edges to give my layout a faux stitched edge … i love how it came together !!
