Write Your Own Story

Hi crafty friends!! You know I LOVE a great title!!  There’s SO many fantastic ones to choose from the new About Me Cut File Title Bundle!!  I see so many great ways to document all kinds of feelings and milestones with this title.  

My youngest son, Kale, just started Grade 12 and I took these great pictures of him the day before school started. He was sporting a fresh haircut and some new clothes! He was excited for this last year of high school and talking about his future plans.  His future is bright and all I want is for Kale to be happy and do what HE wants to do. I want him to write his OWN story! 🩵

Firstly, I increased the size of this title to create a big and bold title on the page to go along with a couple of 3×4 photos.  I created a shadow for the title in a darker colour of patterned paper and then cut the file from white card stock. I then backed it with a couple different patterned papers.  Before I adhered the title to the shadow, I splattered on some white paint for more visual interest.  I then adhered the title to the shadow with foam adhesive!

This paper collection has been in my stash for some time and it always feels like a big win when I find a great match for my photos and that everything coordinates with the layout I want to create.

I will always love the way I can customize the size of any cut file to suit my project. I can also combine different ones to suit my needs. The options are endless for backgrounds, titles and images to use over and over!!!
