This was such a fun layout to create … the first photo is me as a baby apple picking with my Mom and the other two photos are me with each of my babies apple picking.

I used the Little Things Creative Kit and the Highschool Cut File Bundle … i used the word Highschool and cut off the letters to only use the apple !!

I cut out 2 in red and 2 in green and backed them with beige, brown and green cardstock to resemble apples !!

I also used the NEW Jennifer Edwardson Creative Inc. Currently Journaling Stamp Set … the date, Life Captured and the journaling lines (which I love!)

For the bottom portion of the apple, I cut 1.5 inch strips of several patterned papers from the kit and cut fringes into each one ! Doesn’t the bottom one look like grass ?! Love it !

I then layered them slightly on top of each other so that the fringes stuck out … then adhered them down on a piece of spare cardstock !!

Once all the pieces were stuck down, I cut them out in the shape of an apple.

I cut out a piece of kraft paper for the stem and some of the green patterned paper from the kit for a leaf.

I adhered it down on a white cardstock base and hand stitched around it with yellow and burgundy embroidery thread.

I matted my photos with white cardstock and green patterned paper that come in The Little Things Creative Kit … and used the cut file apples as embellishments and a few stickers from the sticker sheet too !!

After everything was in it’s place and adhered, i ruffled up the fringes to create more dimension!
