Hello again crafty friends!!
Today I’m up on the blog sharing a layout I created featuring the NEW Hearts Background Cut File just released on February 1st !
I LOVE a cut file like this one that can quickly become a great focal point for my background…as well as being versatile enough to trim or scale down for other projects!
I’ve been spending time working on my boys albums and loving every minute of going through some older photos of them. This photo is one of my all time favourites and so this Hearts Background Cut File full of fun hearts was PERFECT to use since they have all my heart 😉
I cut this cut file from white cardstock and backed it with a polka dot vellum from my stash. I like using vellum on occasion with the Cut Files when I really love the patterned papers and aiming for a beautiful while also subtle effect.
As you already know…I love working with Cut Files !! My Silhouette (electronic cutting machine) gets a regular work out! Haha. I keep it busy cutting so many Cut Files as they lend so well to all my projects!
My oldest son (19) has his own Silhouette and uses it to create vinyl projects for custom clothing…going to get his assistance soon to turn this cut file into a super cute Valentine t-shirt for me 😉
See … Cut Files are SO versatile!!
Can’t wait to use this cut file again very soon for a Valentine themed layout and some cards! ❤️
