Heart Banners

by Kristin Rizzo

It is such an exciting time for me when I open up emails from our Creative Team and get to see what they’ve created using our Cut Files !!

Being able to see something that Summer and I worked hard on to bring to you for your creative projects, come to life with your photos and memories is SO fun … and this page by Kristin is another great example of that !!

This Heart Banner Cut File was one of our first to release and I am just as in love with it now as I was then … it is one that can be used for every season as Kristin shares here !!

Keep reading for details on how she pulled this beautiful memory together for her album !!

For my base, I used two sheets of cardstock by American Crafts in Dark Kraft and Avocado  Prior to adhering the kraft cardstock to the green cardstock, I used the Snow/Snowflake stencil from the Warm Wishes Add On Kit to lay down some white glitter paste from Gina K. Designs from my stash.

I backed the cut files with papers from the 6×8 paper pad in the Add On Kit I love using smaller patterns to back Cut Files.  Once I liked the placement of the banners I glued (using liquid adhesive) only along the top and adhered to the cardstock.  Once that dried, I added some silver/white baker’s twine !!

I used various supplies from the Warm Wishes Add On Kit (chipboard, stickers and ephemera) to embellish the page.  For the journaling, I used the actual packaging from the ephemera package and typed directly onto it and then cut it apart.  I adhered it using liquid glue and for some extra sparkle, I used Stickles in a variety of colors along with a few little pieces of bling !!

Be sure to tag us using this hashtag #jenniferedwardsoncreativeinc or @jenniferedwardson.crafting on IG so we can see what YOU create using our Cut Files and Creative Kits … and maybe we will feature your projects on our social media too !!

Until Next Time … j. XOX
