Making Memories
by Heather Fischer
Hello Crafty Friends! I’m up on the blog today sharing a layout using one of the new January Cut files!

I used the NEW Mandala Cut File along with an older favourite of mine, the Memories cut file.

For this layout, I wanted to go a different direction in how I used the cut file for the background. So I used some stencil material to cut the image with my Silhouette and created a custom reusable stencil! Just another amazing way to utilize these cut files!

I placed the stencil on my background and using some coordinating ink colours, I stencilled the background on 2 corners and I absolutely love how this turned out!! Then I cut the Memories title in 2 colours to create a border for the title then attached the individual letters using foam dots to add some dimension to this layout.

I hope this technique on using your cut files as stencils inspires you to think of all the ways they can be utilized for all your crafty projects!
Happy crafting,
Heather
