Happy Memories
by Heather Fischer
Hello crafty friends!! Thank you for checking out the blog today to see how I’ve created this layout using some brand new cut files. I wanted to capture the feeling of Summer and document this lovely picture of my girl Marley just chilling in the grass on a warm summer day.

To do this, I knew using the mason jar cut file element from the Fresh Berries Cut File Bundle would pair so well with the new Flowers of the Month cut files.

I cut the mason jar cut file out of white card stock and backed it with vellum to create a mock glass look to the jar. I absolutely love how this turned out!!

Then I cut some of the flowers in white card stock to create a small Summer bouquet to fill this cute jar. It turned out pretty sweet I think! 😉

This layout was created using the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Berry Fields collection that I received in the July kit from the Monthly PaperCraft Subscription. I just LOVE receiving a box FULL of crafty goodness each month!!

Using a Creative kit for my layouts is one of my favourite ways to ensure everything matches and lends to a beautiful cohesive look. The assortment of papers, ephemera, stickers etc, is so fun to sort through and find just the right pieces to create with.

Now that we’re leading into the cooler months, it’s a perfect time to add the new September cut files to your library and spend more time indoors getting crafty for Fall! 😉
Stay crafty,
