Celebrate Dad

Hello, Kristin here to share a new 12×12 layout with you just in time for Father’s Day !!

I used the Father Cut File from the Jennifer Edwardson Creative Digital Shop and featured the beautiful “Simple Vintage Indigo Garden” collection from Simple Stories!

Because of the busy background on the “Grace and Beauty” patterned paper, I knew I’d have to back the cut file with a more simple background.

Once I cut the “FATHER” cut file on white cardstock using my Silhouette, I created an offset in my Silhouette software and cut it out using the Simple Stories Color Vibe Textured Cardstock in the color, “Cornflower”.

Next, I fussy cut flowers and butterflies from some of the patterned papers, and started to create my embellishment clusters with those pieces, stickers and some ephemera from the “Bits and Pieces”.

I need bling on every page that I create, so I added some enamel dots, bling and hearts from my stash.

I finished the layout by typing my journaling and adding it to a piece of ephemera.
