Hi Crafty friends! I’m on the blog today to share this layout with you using the NEW Abstract Background Cut File!  These awesome background cut files are always so fun to play with!!  I love pulling in lots of patterned papers to back the cut file and create a unique and bold pattern!

Being able to select the size to print any of the cut files is the best way to customize your projects.  For this layout, I cut the background to 11”x11” in white card stock. I knew I was using bright bold papers so wanted to balance it all out on a black card stock background.  

This style of cut file is also a fabulous way to use up your scraps that you still love but just don’t have enough for layout layers or photo mats!  I had a small assortment of this older paper collection, so this was the perfect cut file to use up the papers and some of the coordinating ephemera.

I’ve also used some of the background cut files in the past as card fronts. So it just goes to show how versatile these files are!
