Gather Together

The moment that I received the Live Simply Creative Kit from Jennifer, I knew immediately that one of the projects would be a wall hanging. I used the Scallop Background Cut File and sized it down to about 7 ½” to create the base of my wall hanging.

In the square portion of the Scallop Background, I layered a variety of the patterned papers, a frame and ephemera pieces out of the Live Simply Creative Kit. You’ll notice that the edges of most of the pieces have been distressed, usually I ink the edges, but
this time I preferred leaving them un-inked.

 To tie in some of the black from the base of the wall hanging, I cut the Irregular Weave Cut File out of a piece of black cardstock,
cut it in half and layered it in amongst the elements on the wall hanging

I hope that my wall hanging has inspired you to recreate your own version at home using the Live Simply Creative Kit, Live Simply Add On Kit, the Irregular Weave Cut File and Scallop Background Cut File.
