Back To School

Hi Crafty Friends, it’s Sylvia back to share a Back To School 12 x 12 themed layout utilizing the NEW School Zone Cut File Bundle! I also used the All The Fall Creative Kit and the Paige Evans Bungalow Lane Collection.

The creative kit is currently sold out, but the School Life Creative Kit would make the perfect companion for all those back to school layouts!

I decided to use the awesome Backpack Cut file element from the bundle as the focal point of my page. I enlarged it and backed it with various papers from the collection that complimented the outfits my three children had chosen for their First Day of School Picture.

For the background, I decided to use the Bungalow Lane Coloured Chipboard Alphabet letters. And yes, I used the whole set!!! Because why not?! You could also use the ‘Hey’ Thickers Alphabet letters, to achieve the same background effect!

I like certain elements of my layouts to pop-up from the page, so I used some double sided foam tape and pop-up dots for the 3D Flowers and backpack Cut file. This is a great way to add interest and depth. I used chipboard elements, ephemera and puffy stickers to complete my page. Along with Black and Blue Card stock from Simple Stories.
