Hi crafty friends! How are we into November already?!  

Fall is my favourite season! And is it just me, or does it feel like it was gone in the blink of an eye?!  Though, I can’t say I’m too upset about some cooler weather, as I do love to spend cozy time indoors, specifically in my CRAFT ROOM! 😉

Now’s the time to get some of your photos documented and start planning your Christmas crafts and cards. Don’t forget to also utilize the amazing selection of cut files in the library and watch for the gorgeous new cut files coming for December as well…they are SO good!!

For this layout, I used the new Currently Reading Cut File Bundle! When I saw this cut file, I knew I wanted to use these super cute photos of Maelyn to create this fun layout.  Maelyn is a huge reader…she loves all kinds of stories and picking out books and library time…isn’t she the sweetest?!

I just love when a cut file goes perfectly with my photos!!  And of course, I love how I can customize them to suit my needs.

For this layout, I decided to use the Simple Stories “My Story” collection.  The colours and coordinating ephemera are bright and cheerful. A perfect fit for this layout.

Firstly, I cut the cut file in a white card stock and backed it with some of the collections patterned papers. I also used an assortment of the Color Vibe card stock. This card stock is a must have, the texture and weight of it is fantastic!

When using cut files, I tend to use foam adhesive for that added dimension and ensure they stand out as a feature to my layouts.

I printed these two cute photos in 3×4 and attached them to the right side. I then had some fun adding in an assortment of ephemera and foam stickers.
