Best Mom Ever

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day this past weekend. In today’s blog we are featuring another beautifully designed scrapbooking layout using our NEW Mother’s Day Cut File.

Hello! It’s Kristin here to share a 12×12 layout with you using the The Best Day Creative Kit, featuring this beautiful collection from Pink Fresh Studio!

I started by backing the brand new “Best Mom Ever” cut file from the shop.  I used gray Bazzill Dotted Swiss cardstock that was included in the kit to back most of the cut file along with patterned paper from the kit.

I backed the photo of my mother and I with one of the patterned paper from the kit.  I popped it up with two layers of pop dots for some dimension.  I then positioned the cut file, the prayer card and photo.

Next, I started to select my ephemera and chipboard.  The layout looked really flat and needed something in the background, so I went through the patterned papers.  There is one that had this circle of patterned paper with the small blue flowers on it, so I cut that out and adhered it behind the cut file.  I loved the look of this with the ephemera I selected.

I had bling in my stash that matched the collection perfectly so I added that along with some enamel dots to the layout to complete it.
