80’s Baby

Hello Crafty Friends! I am so happy to be back sharing another project with you!  This layout features the new Large Mandala cut file.

I just love this image for it’s versatility and it’s just so pretty! 😉 To create this layout, I used the Kid At Heart Creative Kit, which is currently on sale right now!

When I found this gem of a picture of myself from Kindergarten, it had all the feels of this Creative Kit and I’m so happy with how it turned out.  It’s vibrant, playful and gives me such a Happy vibe!  Since the picture is vintage 😉 the colours aren’t fabulous, so a more vibrant collection of papers helps to brighten up the older hues of aged photos.

For the focal point of the layout, I wanted the cut file to really shine with all the fun patterned papers I used from the kit, so I decided to just add some ink to the white base then attached the cut file.  I used pieces from the ephemera collections in the kit, some flat and some adhered with foam dots.  I can’t remember the last time I created a project without foam dots…love them!!

Dig out your older photos, get them out of the old sticky albums and bring them back to life with great Creative Kits & cut files!
