Tons of LOVE Layout

by Kristin Rizzo

When Summer and I were designing our February Cut Files, i was adamant that one of the bundles needed to have a truck in it … filled with hearts and I was so happy to see Kristins layout come to my inbox using it, as it truly is one of my fave parts of the Be Mine Bundle !!

Check out how this FABULOUS layout came together for Kristin, in her words below …

The photo for this layout is of my sister and I and our cousins ! When I saw this adorable Cut File, I knew it was perfect for this photo !!

The truck can be found in the  Be Mine Cut File Bundle  and the hearts in the Decorative Hearts Bundle.

I love how versatile all of Jennifer’s Cut Files are and that you can mix so many of the pieces between bundles.

I started by backing the truck with the B-Side of the “Bless Us” paper.  This yellow is the most perfect hue and since I always seem to see red trucks, I thought it would be fun to change things up and make this one yellow!  The headlight is backed with vellum and the bumpers with some silver paper I had in my stash.

The tires are backed with “Bless Us” paper and the rest is backed with the B-Side of the 2 x 2 and 4 x 4 Elements paper and I turned the hearts in the back of the truck into a shaker.

I really wanted to do something different and had this faux chicken wire paper in my stash.  I backed the cut file with the faux chicken wire, used foam tape next.  Then I added a sequin mix I made to match the Hearth & Home collection (green, wood grain, brown, white and yellow) and then backed with vellum.

The supplies I used are from the Hearth & Home Creative Kit. I added some bling from my stash along with stickers, fussy cut flowers, stickers and ephemera from the Hearth & Home Creative Kit.

… and I absolutely LOVE using  my typewriter for the journaling. Thanks for checking out my layout using these fun Cut File Bundles and I hope it inspires you to use them too !
