GIRL … you can do it !!

I am SO embarrassed to tell you how long our new bedroom doors have been without doorknobs !!!!!!!!!!

SO … i won’t because it’s been so long that I can’t actually even remember(but likely close to a year LOL)

Do you want to know why ?! Well, first because I actually forgot to order the doorknobs in time for when the doors we’re being installed (thus getting me out of putting them on myself) … second, because I have been SO NERVOUS to actually do it myself !!

In my defence, we waited a long time to have all new doors installed on the main floor of our home and I didn’t want to ruin them LOL … but when my 17 yr old keeps saying that his friends ask him EVERY time they’re here why he has a sock in the hole of his door where a doorknob should be, I decided it couldn’t wait any longer !!

TODAY WAS THE DAY … and guess what girls ??!!!! It was SOOOOO not as hard as I thought it was going to be LOL !

I went into my workshop, got a screwdriver, hammer and chisel and got to work and within 30 minutes I had chiseled out the spot I needed (and did NOT ruin the door) and installed this stunner of a handle !!

AND … @alex.edwardson even has friends coming over tonight so he can show it off … NO MORE SOCKS in the door hole 🤣
