“No matter how long the winter, Spring is sure to follow.” ~ Proverb
Happy March! Happy Spring is on its way, yay!
I don’t know about you, but I am more than ready to see this winter gloom end. My snowboard loving son, however, is not so thrilled lol!
Andie here on the blog today to share my Lucky Me layout with you.

New Spring Cut Files
From the new March Cut Files, I used the Floral Wreath and the Spring Titles bundle and I paired them with the Summer Lovin’ Creative Kit for some fabulous bright & bold colours!
Stamps & Stencils
For the background I used an old 12×12 polka dot stencil I had in my stash, with some sunny yellow ink. Then I used a cluster of dots stamp from Jennifer’s Summer Bloom Clear Stamp set and stamped
over the polka dots with a slightly darker yellow ink, in both first and second generation stamping. It is quite fun to create your own background paper using stamps and stencils!

I also added some green branches from this stamp set just behind the flowers of the Floral Wreath Cut File. Since it was all cut out in white cardstock I think this helped make it stand out against the mostly white background too.
Then I added a few more stamps from Jennifer’s Currently Journaling Clear Stamp set in a navy ink so they stood out. I also used the journalling lines from this set to add in my journaling – at an angle though, just because!

Lucky Me
Lucky Me” was a perfect title to add to this layout. This is one of my all time favourite photos of my three, where they are ALL smiling, and I can’t help but feel so lucky to have them whenever I see this photo and remember this day.
Thank you for stopping by the blog for my layout process today. I hope you are also enjoying the longer days, more sunshine, and general feeling of renewal that Spring tends to bring!
